Illustration of Stadshuset (City Hall) in Stockholm, for a stamp to mark its 100th anniversary in 2023. This was part of the series “Sverige under 500 år” (“Sweden Over 500 Years”), which I also illustrated.

The image was made in pencil, combined with an acrylic painting for the colours. Graphic designer Eva Wilsson then added the clouds, waves and stars, which were inspired by mosaics in the famous Gyllene Salen (The Golden Hall). The columns at the side were taken from Blå Hallen (The Blue Hall), famously the grand venue for the annual Nobel dinner.
